Hudson #02-105 Hudson was born on 2/2/02 and is looking for a forever home where he will be loved and trained to be the best dog ever! UPDATES: 4/02: From Hudson's new family... Dear Foster Mommy Jane, Well, I have had a busy week. I have met so many new people who are so much fun to see that I wag the whole lower half of my body to let them know that I like them. The women at my house love me- I know they do 'cuz they give me carrots!!! I love carrots! I carry them around, chew them up, spit them out and lick them up again. Lara isn't so sure that is a cute trick, but Bev, Darcel, Lori and Debbie love it when I do this. I am also MOSTLY going outside- Lara always tells me to "do my thing" so I do and I get a treat. Life is good for puppies! Last night I went to puppy school for the first time- it was wonderful! I was one of the youngest in the class, but probably weighed the most and I sat down and the nice teacher gave me HOT DOG reinforcers. I sure hope Lara starts using those! I am only waking up once a night to go out an "do my thing" and I love going for walks and playing with the Schnauzer next door- she's the boss and we have so much fun playing puppies together. I also have seen Canadian geese and Mallard ducks on the lake at the park by our house and I really wish Lara would let me play with them. She keeps on muttering something about "not until you get all your shots," but I don't really know what that means. I do know I am going to see the nice people at Hillcrest Animal Hospital in May - on my 13th week birthday. Lara says it is going to be really fun. I love meeting new people! I meet lots of people yesterday- Lara took the day off of work and we met some of her colleagues, then I went and played with three little kids- 4, 3 and 1.5 years old. I didn't know what to do when one of them pulled my tail, so I looked deep into Lara's eyes and she rescued me. I was so exhausted I fell asleep on the ride home. I forgot to tell you- I love my crate- I can see everything that is going on in the car, and this AM I got into the crate with out Lara having to put me in. Well, I am really tired, and Lara should be coming home from work soon to let me out, so I'll say goodbye for now! Love, PS Jane- he is such a sweet boy! He is just great with everyone we meet and really enjoyed puppy school last night. Poor guy - the tornado siren was going off as we got to TCOTC so we were almost deaf by the time we got inside. He just looked confused, but not angry. He didn't really much care about the thunder storm the other night either. We are getting him signed up for Obedience One, starting in June. Hope we run into each other at TCOTC some time! |
