Goldzilla!

Goldzilla was our Golden Retriever Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue. We had lots of family fun and lots of big hairy Golden Retrievers. Our supporters and volunteers collected pledges and took a leisurely 5K "Walk for Rescue", along beautiful wooded trails of Snail Lake Regional Park. In addition to the Fun Fair and Walk for Rescue, Goldzilla provided a great opportunity for reunions of dogs that knew each other in RAGOM or before they were rescued.

The best news... We did it!!! We met our not only met our goal, we exceeded our goal! Thanks to the hard work of hundreds of RAGOM supporters and the generosity of friends, family and co-workers. All of the money we raised will support RAGOM's efforts in the coming months. Thank you!

Girl Scout Troop 52061 Makes a Special Presentation to RAGOM
on February 7th, 2009 at the PetCo in Woodbury

A group of 5th and 6th grade Junior Girl Scouts from Troop 52061 in Woodbury have been working towards earning their Bronze Award. This is the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can receive. As a part of the Bronze Award, they needed to perform a community service project. After the girls researched many animal charities, they found RAGOM was the most deserving and decided they would like to work with RAGOM.

Congratulations to Girl Scout Troop 52061! For all their hard work to support RAGOM and the dogs. The girls did a donation drive to collect a variety of items to suppport RAGOM's mission. On Saturday the Troop came and participated in the PetCo event in Woodbury and made a presentation of dog beds, blankets and toys for the foster dogs. We would like to thank them for their support of RAGOM and all of the dogs.
