There are many wonderful Golden sites out there and here are a few of our favorites. Pet Video – Created by petfinder.com, Pet Video is a great resource for any animal owner. There are hundreds of training videos to choose from, ranging from puppy proofing your home, to jumping, to learning how to communicate with a deaf dog. Each video is short, easy to understand, and uses positive reinforcement.

How To Love Your Dog – This site helps parents teach kids about compassion, commitment, and responsibility. Topics include basic care and training, pet loss, pet overpopulation, laws of the community, safety around animals, and compassion towards older dogs.

Helping Paws of Minnesota – This wonderful group trains dogs to act as working animals for people with various physical disabilities other than visual/aural. They also donate the use of their facility to RAGOM on a regular basis. Check this site out- it is fascinating.

Mar Vista Animal Medical Center – Mar Vista Animal Medical Center is a great resource for a variety of medical issues. You can browse through their section on various surgical proceedures, or look through their pet library!

Animal Folks Minnesota – All of us want to DO something in the fight against inhumane breeding practices and this website is our start. It includes local and national information on issues surrounding puppy and kitten mills.

Golden Retriever Club of America – The GRCA is a wonderful source of information on Golden Retrievers in general, puppy referrals, additional rescue information and much more.

Land Of Pure Gold – If you love Golden Retrievers, you'll want to see this fabulous site. It is full of suggestions for people who love their Golden Retrievers, has grief resources, wonderful stories and amazing links.

The Goldstock Fund – The Goldstock Fund has several great resources including a list of groups that offer financial assistance for owners facing large vet bills, information on canine cancer research, and a virtual library.

Golden Retriever Club of America's Rescue Committee – The GRCA's National Rescue Committee is committed to assisting Golden Retriever rescue at a national level.  This site has many interesting and informative articles about rescued Golden Retrievers.  It also has a state by state listing of rescue groups, so if you want to adopt a Golden Retriever, but don't live in RAGOM's area, check them out!
