Annual Fun Run and Picnic Flyer

The 2008 RAGOM Picnic and 5K Fun Run and Walk will be held on September 20th, 2008 at Snail Lake Regional Park in Shoreview.
All well-mannered dogs are are invited to join in the fun, along with their two legged friends!
Watch the website for updates!
- The annual "Get Your Tail in Gear" Fun Run will start the day off at 10:00.
- Food will be available for purchase starting at 11:30.
- Foster showcase- You will have the opportunity to meet some of our foster dogs.
- Raffle with GReat prizes!
- Silent Auction with wonderful items to bid on!
- Demonstrations.
- Food and many vendors who support RAGOM throughout the year.
"Get Your Tail in Gear" 5K Fun Run & Walk
Beginning at 8:00 a.m. bring your two legged friends along and sign up for the 5KFun Run and Walk!
Fun Run & Walk begins at 10 a.m.
Picnic begins serving food at 11:30 a.m.
Each registered participant will receive a RAGOM "Get your Tail in Gear" T-shirt and lunch.
The 2008 Grand Marshal of the Fun Run and Walk is radio celebrity Teri Knight from
radio station 102.9 Lite FM!

Get your raffle tickets! Get your raffle tickets here!
RAGOM has made it easy for you to buy tickets for our fall raffle
without going in search of your favorite volunteer! Just send a check or
money order (we're sorry, we cannot accept credit cards on a raffle for
legal reasons) for the number of raffle tickets you would like to
purchase.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 per ticket.
Just send a check and a note with your information to the PO box listed below.
We will fill out the portion of the ticket that goes into the actual drawing, and
mail you back the stubs for your records.
If you would like a name other
than what is listed on your check entered in the drawing, just enclose a
note and we'll be happy to do that as well. Save time and gas while
still supporting your favorite cause, and have as many chances as you would like to win a terrific prize!

The Top Prizes for the Raffle
Grand Prize is 3 nights lodging at East Bay Suites in Grand Marais valued at $750.00, with a $50.00 gas card to help get you there.
Second prize is a $400.00 Kohler Destinations gift card, which can be used for lodging, golf, or anything else at Kohler resorts.
Third prize is a Wii game system, valued at $250.00.

Over the years RAGOM has re-homed thousands of dogs, with the best part being all the happy endings!
The "Foster Showcase" will be one more opportunity to meet some of "Available Dogs" that you may be considering for adoption.
It is at these kinds of events that families have met the new love of their life! Very often they come to see one
specific golden beauty and fall in love with another they had not noticed on the website or had never given a second look!
This is a fast and easy way to meet several dogs at one time.

This year we have added several demonstrations.
There will be a "Canine Good Citizen Certification" demonstration by Debra Schneider, owner of
All Breed Obedience & Behavorial School for Dogs!
Basic Animal Rescue Training, known as "BART",
will have a booth and will perform a demonstration at 11:30 am.
This year the The Red Cross will have information on pet first aid and will be doing a demonstration at 12:15 pm.
Patch Your Pet Flyer
Paws Massage and Pet Sitting, will do pet massages for $1! They will also and have information available on their services.
If your furry friend is not already microchipped, here is a wonderful and convenient way to get it done!
Home Again Microchips, will provide information and a microchip clinic!
We have a variety of interesting vendors coming out with a wide array of crafts, services and treats. Be sure to stop by and check them out!
