Help RAGOM Win a $20,000 Grant!

The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $20,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants of $1000 and $5000 to rescue groups.

In 2008 you helped RAGOM win $1000 by voting everyday during the Animal Rescue Site's first Shelter Challenge. By voting, you supported RAGOM in their mission to rescue and re-home Golden Retrievers. Your support is needed again. Starting April 13^th the Animal Rescue Site will begin its second Shelter Challenge, and with your help, we can win the grand prize! The Challenge lasts through July 26, 2009, so please remember to vote everyday - this is a marathon, not a sprint!

Voting Instructions

Help us win! All you have to do is click to help rescued animals, and then vote in The Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge. Both of these actions are absolutely free! You can vote once a day, every day, from April 13 through July 26, 2009. Every time you vote, or tell a friend to vote, you are making a huge difference for us.

1. Click on "Click Here to Give" (see example below) to donate the free food.

2. On the next page, look for "Help your favorite animal shelter win a prize!" at the top. Click on "Vote Now!"

3. On the Shelter Rescue Challenge page, scroll down to the "search and vote for a shelter" box. Please type in "Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota", choose "MN" for the state, and click "search." It will display one result (ours), to the right click "vote."

The next page will show you a picture of a random animal, and you have to type in what animal it shows (as a way to confirm your vote). That's it, you're all done, until tomorrow!!
